FAQ's
How do I care for my handmade items?
There will be directions sent with package on how to properly wash your in particular product(s). Follow the instructions carefully so that you and many more generations of your family will be able to enjoy the beautiful work of art you have purchased.
What is the difference between machine quilting and hand quilting?
When regarding the top of the quilt (the design) usually now a days, handmade quilts are mainly machine quilted, due to hand quilting being very time consuming. (The size of the product does effect whether machine quilting is possible.) However if you are referring to the entire quilt as a whole, whether the quilter decides to use a machine the whole time, or just to piece together the top is the quilter's personal decision. Some enjoy the challenge of hand quilting the top, batting, and backing together while others choose to machine quilt. Hand quilting the top, batting and backing together will however be more costly, due to the extra effort and time put into the product.
Why are some products of the same size more expensive than others?
Some of the products that are the same size will be more expensive then another due to a list of reasons;
- The difficulty of the patterns vary.
- The type of the material.
- Where the material is bought.
- If you need a rushed product it will cost more.
